Expert Cat I

Qualification(s):
- at least a Master degree or equivalent academic qualification in agriculture, natural resource
management, development studies, public policy or related fields
General professional experience:
 - a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in the field of agriculture, environment, climate
change, Natural Resource Management related fields with a particular focus on institutional
development
Specific experience:
 - minimum of 10 assignments in project evaluations (mid term, final, ex-post or organisational
evaluations) of development co-operation projects, financed by different types of
Donors/Institutions, like the European Union, bilateral donors and multilateral institutions in the field
of environment, climate change and development programmes;
   - at least 5 assignments in institution capacity building, organisational development and technical
cooperation projects with government, public administration or public bodies.
   -  at least 5 assignments as team leader in evaluation or technical assistance related projects and
programmes
Desirable experience:
   - Previous experience in South Asian countries is preferred
   - Previous experience in Bhutan is desirable
   - Previous experience in EU Programme Estimate Modality is desirable
