Team composition:

Expert 1 : Category I: Team Leader

  • At least Master's degree academic level related to Lot 4
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience over the last 7 years in dealing with design or monitoring or evaluation of projects or of government policies in social sectors, such as social services or support services for children or women.
  • At least 5 experiences in conducting research of interventions aimed at women and children.
  • At least 3 experiences as team leader co-ordinating research.
  • Experiences in costing social policies or social services will be an advantage.
  • Experience in working in the field of GBV in South Africa and knowledge of stakeholders will be an advantage.
  • Experiences in working with the South African government will be an advantage.

 

Expert 2: Category II: Research expert in social services / gender based violence

  • At least Master's degree academic level related to Lot 4.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience dealing with projects or programmes related to gender based violence over the last 6 years.
  • At least 3 experiences in research in the field of gender based violence, with preference for a focus on services related to addressing violence against women and children.
  • Previous experience in working in South Africa with government or civil society in Gender
  • Based Violence or social services will be an advantage.

 

Expert 3: Category II: Economic modelling and costing expert

  • At least Master's degree academic level
  • At least 3 experiences in costing and economic modelling of programmes relating to social services
  • Previous experience of working with South African budgetary process at national and provincial levels will be an advantage

 

Expert 4: Category III: Gender based violence Research

  • At least Master's degree academic level
  • A minimum of 2 years over the last 5 years in evaluation and monitoring of GBV related programme/interventions
  • Previous experience in working in South Africa with government or civil society in the related field will be an advantage.
